A Brief History of The River of God Church The River of God Church is dedicated to serving God and loving people. Our ministry began over 25 years ago as a store-front outreach on the East Side of St. Paul, during the Jesus Movement. As our church grew, we relocated twice on the East Side of St. Paul, and recently to downtown North St. Paul. Over the years, we have expanded our ministry at home and been instrumental in planting churches in several foreign countries. In 1999, we became known as The River of God Church, to reflect the new work God has been doing among us. We desire more than ever to flow in God's love and anointing, and to offer life-giving ministry to our community. As it says in Ezekiel 47:9, "...where the river flows, everything will live." River of God Church is an Assemblies of God church.
